What are dermal fillers or as hyaluronic fillers?
Dermal filler or hyaluronic filler is one and the same name for the filer which is used for replacing the lost volume of skin folds and wrinkles, for shaping facial contours, hydration and skin rejuvenation and for the non-surgical correction of the scars. Over the years, due to the aging process, together with collagen and elastin, skin loses the ability to produce hyaluronic acid and begins to lose moisture, elasticity, firmness and volume, which leads to skin dryness and creation of wrinkles and that’s why the hyaluronic acid is precisely used as a dermal filler.

What are the advantages of dermal fillers?
Hyaluronic dermal fillers have in recent years become the gold standard for filling facial wrinkles. Here, at the Center for Aesthetic Medicine, we use luxury dermal fillers of high quality. These are biocompatible products that are biologically decomposed in a natural and safe way and disappear from body when fully absorbed. The advantage of modern filler is that isn’t permanent and testing for allergies isn’t necessary because of their non-animal origin, unlike collagen fillers which are derived from animal collagen.

What is the treatment for eyebrows?
After a thorough review and analysis of face we begin with cleaning the face and applying anesthetic cream, allowing it to act and then injecting filler to the desired location followed by a gentle massage to achieve evenly smooth surface. This treatment lifts eyebrows and also sagging skin of the upper eyelids making your eye more open and more attractive.

Is the treatment painful and how long does it last?
Before the treatment we apply anesthetic cream so that the treatment is completely painless. The treatment itself lasts for approximately 10-15 minutes and results can be seen immediately afterwards. After the treatment our clients returns to their everyday life. Due to the extreme brevity of the treatment and its painlessness, Filler treatments are also called “lunch-time” treatments because they can be done during lunch break.

Are there side effects?
Side effects are extremely rare. In a case they do occur, they are usually manifested with slight redness and sensation of tightness at the injection site but it quickly disappears. There may be swelling and bruising, which disappear after 2-3 days.

Recommendations after the treatment

We advise our clients to:

  • every few hours gently massage the treated area
  • avoid facial massage and any other aesthetic, cosmetic and laser facial treatments for a week
  • also avoid sun tanning and tanning salons and sauna for a week
